When learning a second language, there is a variety of
factors that must be taken into account by the teacher in order to achieve the
objectives of each lesson. And one of those is students’ interest.
Attention is the principal thing when giving a class,
without attention students will not learn anything, that’s why since the
beginning of the class, teachers should develop and catch this, and then, try
or do things in order to not lose it. It is 99.9% proved that when students are
focused on the class, there is a better development of it.

So that engaging students’ interest will be favorable due to students will be interested, excited and they will have curiosity for learning. When the lesson is being given, they are contextualized, also because part of their interests include using their environment and previous knowledge. In addition, teacher can notice that they learn quickly and there is a better understanding.
Participation is very fluent, every student has their
own opinion and way of thinking so everyone has something to say or add to the
class, which this shows that they feel comfortable around their classmate and
the teacher. When working on the activities, students seem to be motivated,
there are enthusiasm and they put effort on them, and then when checking their
products, it is notable they paid attention and they learnt because their
answers are all correct and well done.

English lessons usually require an extra effort by the teacher, because it is common find students who do not like learning a second language. But when the group’s interests are engaged, it makes a difference in classrooms; students enjoy learning the new language, practicing what they learn and participating during the process. It makes easier for the teacher to reach the goals.
